hi people. i realized i have not been blogging for like almost 2 months. i don't even know where to start now. so i was thinking i might blog about an old bestie of mine. let's meet Kennio Gosti from http://framesofciel.blogspot.com/ she's like one of the most unique girls i've ever met. we spent lots of happy times together back then in the second year of our junior high, we shared a diary and guess what, my previous blog url brandeddreamer came from her!

She was a genius and received this scholarship to Singapore. needless to say, farewell... so last june when i made sure i would be going to SG, i told her and we planned for a meet-up. the last time i saw her before that was at school, sometime around December '10. not that long but i miss her craziness!

June 29th, we met up at Paragon and enjoyed ourselves at Ochacha since i wanted to try the muffins. they're like so yum... as i'm writing this, i'm craving for them at the same time.

sorry for wasting so much of your polaroid films hehehe.

45 minutes before the time she had to leave due to her hostel rules, we decided to head to Cathay and did this japanese photobox thing. it was crazy enough until she had to go back and we waved a bye to each other. i hate doing that, a lot.

oh well, see you in november after you survive the dreading o-level! :D

not to forget, she was so nice that she gave me this early birthday present and cute card with short-but-meaningful sentences. thank you :')

anyway, Happy Independence Day, Indonesia! thank you for the day off. :P

rock the summer.

hello, i skipped school today due to the traffic. yeah blame medan streets for being so congested these days. i don't know why. perhaps a lot of people get rich then buy more and more cars. in addition, how brainless, stubborn, egoistic and out of line some people can be while driving. as long as Indonesia doesn't 'throw away' cars after 10 years of usage like other countries do, the streets in Jakarta and Medan will never go better.

so i spent the rest of the day sleeping, browsing, tweeting. and found this...

Around My Arms

finally back home after a fun vacation. loves the feeling when i woke up in the morning and simply saw my parents and brother around me. not like i don't feel it back here, but most of the time i'll wake up and rush for school. well, there's just something amazing about travelling with this best family i can ever have. pictures will be up soon, hehe.

Mom and i were pretty exhausted yesterday and we decided to go for a spa. but since it was sort of unavailable so we had massage instead. the place is designed very beautifully with a bit touch of Bali-ish.







soo... i'm now back to school and all the routines. here we go again.

Before The Rainbow

i've been having two of the greatest days of my life. yesterday (Sunday), i slept at 6 in the morning and woke up at 4 pm to an early birthday surprise by 3 of my best friends. despite the fact that i had actually found out about the 'impossible' surprise but then ignored it because i thought it wasn't even my birthday yet, it went great though. thank you a million times to Cristine, Marcel and Tomy. i just can't believe that the 3 of you would come to my house merely for such a 'quiet' surprise. i mean, who would do a birthday surprise with only 3 friends participating? the others weren't able to join due to some reasons but still, i appreciate it like a lot and feel so incredibly blessed to have them as my best friends. they did the same thing last year at Johnson but it was like 10 people and i had a lot of fun as well. :)





i was pretty shocked and went "what date is today?" and they simply said it was because i will not be in town during my birthday so they sort of 'speed' it a bit.

i went for a sleepover at Utari's house last night and we (cousins) had our quality time today. we went for a swimming session and bowling. no pictures though, we were too busy enjoying ourselves. yet i made a record, i didn't sleep even a minute last night and that is why i should really get my energy restored now. my flight to SG is in 7 hours and i can't wait to pamper myself with all the shoppings. i'll as well be in Penang for a few days then be on Star Cruise right on my birthday yay! :D i hope this vacation goes just as planned.

Keep Holding On

Throughout this past year, i've been switching my lights off before going to bed and doze off. i used to be the one who just couldn't get my eyes closed in the dark. but ever since some of my best friends suggested me to try turning off the lights, it turned out to be a habit for me until now. there, such beautiful sleeping lamps in mom's room that i just noticed.

Another 'sleeping' fact of mine, i dream 6 times out of 7 times sleeping in a week. most of the time i will forget the whole story but there's always a part of it that i'll remember the next morning i wake up. i simply wish those sweet dreams will be happening someday. on the other hand, my sleeping pattern has been such a mess lately. blame holidays. i need to get it fixed so i won't have to waste my fun time for merely sleeping in the hotel during my vacation next week, just like what i did last year. so i'll try sleeping in now. have a good slumber everyone! x

anyway, i need to blog about my personal days lately. my camera sucks to the core that everytime i feel like blogging but then seeing the blurry, bad-quality pictures immediately stopped me. i do feel bad for my pink Sony W230 and i truly need to get the lens fixed asap all by myself, for the sake of my vacation pictures next week.

i received a letter from Jessica that day. a birthday letter, to be precise.

when i got home, i went all gloomy because it was the 'last' day my gang could hang out altogether completely, since some of them will be going back to Singapore soon. gotta wait till December, i truly hate farewell to the core. i wish we were all still in the same class, same school, same country. so i cried a few times that night and when i opened this letter, i cried even harder. they're like one of the reasons i smile and laugh today. :)

so yessss, it was my 16th Chinese Birthday as well. special thanks goes to some people for the greetings! :)

i have no idea why mom bought me the cake with a '15' candle while it was my chinese birthday and she has always been putting priority on chinese age over the real age. oh well.
